This English lawyer wants to say thanks to everyone for organising such a successful ride (yet again). It is an honour and a privilege to be allowed to take part in the event.
The work of Harry, Pat and everyone else involved in all aspects of the organisation of this event cannot be over estimated.
Thank you for making the ride possible.
A big thank you to all the riders whose company and encouragement made the 300 miles seem a pleasure and not a pain.
I hope to see you all again in 2012 to raise funds for a great cause and to reflect on the sacrifices made by so many.

I was on my way back from a weekend trip to the beach when I saw a support vehicle for the Police Unity Tour heading back south on I95 (believe it was from Ft Myers, Fl.). I smiled to myself with gratitude knowing how far the riders had ridden in remembrance of fallen officers. My first husband was killed in the line of duty in N.C. so I know how special it is knowing he is never forgotten and also to honor all officers (including my brother and current husband). Thanks so much!!!

Bonnie read your post, thanking us.. "THANK YOU" for the support and not complaining that we slowed your day down with traffic congestion, as many did. We will be out there next year in May again.

Pat, Harry, Debbie, Beth, Jimmy and all the others who work so hard to make this ride possible...we riders thank you! Your Texas guys love you, you will always have our support! I heard a lot of good words spoken but the best I heard was this..."Police Officers matter. You matter." Thank all of you for being my friend...counting down the days to the next year! This is such a great cause to make sure that fallen officers are never forgotten.

While I'm not a police officer or the wife of one, I appreciate what every officer does each day she/he puts on the uniform. This past week I was in Mount Vernon on a school trip with my daughter when the parade of officers on bikes and vehicles rode by, WHAT A SITE!! It brought tears to my eyes to see the support you all offer one another, there is no other profession like it! THANK YOU!!!

just want to say thank you to those who make this tour happen. Its a life time experience to be part of the ride. although i have never met the officer I represent on this ride, i come closer to him. I ask him for the strength to push forward and help me finish. It is truly and honor to participate and ride. to the family of Deputy Michael R. Schaefer, Uvalde County SO(Uvalde Texas), it was a true honor and i will soon mail you a piece that represents Michael. I will have lost a part of me and will never forget.

Many thanks to all the Riders, Support, Administartion and Families of the Tour. Your mission is critical and reminds us, in a time when some have forgotten, of the incredible heroism of our nation's law enforcement officers. I am proud today of the entire tour and send personal congratulations espescially to Lieutenant John Glinko, Sergeant Michael Spitzer, Corporal Michael Cordileone, Officer Carl Mase, Detective Craig Casaletto and Officer Chad Rossy of the Mount Olive Township Police Department (NJ).

I saw your group riding along in New Castle this morning at about 8:30 this morning. It was an incredible sight to behold and it was even more incredible to hear the shouts of gratitude and support from the bystanders when I was stopped at a red light. This is so incredibly wonderful and inspiring that you all come together to honor the memories of your fallen comrades. I salute you all!

The tour was an idea presented to me by my buddy Art akins-BWT PD. I didnt think I could do it. I didnt train properly. I thought about quitting. Then the day came and the week passed by and I realized that this was not me, but about the Fallen and their families. Several guys helped me thru it to the point where they out their hand on my shoulders and literally pushed me uphill. Talk about comraderie! I owe them and Art for the support. That was my first time, now I'm PUT all the time! An unbelieveable experience.

2010 was my 8th year making the trip to DC to remember and honor all the men and women in law enforcement that made the intimate sacrifice. After getting back home and after thinking about the trip, it was clear to see that peddling my bicycle the 300 miles was the easy part. The hard part of the trip was done by everyone behind the scenes, so to all those people I say THANK YOU. Thank you to, Beth and Brian in the lead vehicle for getting us from Hanover to DC safely. Thank you to all the motors for the escort and keeping us safe from all the other traffic. Thank you to the break team for keeping us well fed and hydrated along the way. Thank you to the hotel team for getting all our stuff from place to place and getting us our room keys quickly. Thank you to the guys in the repair trailer for fixing all the bikes incredibly fast (mine included thanks to 2 flats.)
Thank you to all the others involved that didn’t fall into any of the above listed areas. Thanks to Pat and Harry for having an idea and making the dream come true. Thank you to my beautiful wife Valarie and my step daughter Ashley for the surprise visit at Albert’s it meant a lot to me to have you both there. Thank you to the family of Officer Richard Crittenden Sr. of North Saint Paul PD for sharing with me the memory of their lost loved one. Above all, thank you to all the members of the Police Unity Tour for making this trip a successful one. Raising 1.1 million dollars for the memorial was an incredible achievement and one we should all be very proud of. I hope to see you all next year so we can do it all over again.
Be well and stay safe

What a proud moment it was riding strong into DC this year with an awesome group of riders, support staff and motors that do this for all the right reasons. It is about the mission and when riding got tough, I looked around and found everyone struggling with the wind, struggling with the rain and struggling with the emotions of riding for our fallen friends and fellow officers. We brought them all home and made sure that they will never be forgotten. It was a priviledge riding with you all and Wisconsin can't wait to be back with you all again next year!

I had no idea what was going on yesterday morning in Tappahannock, Va. Luckily I was the first car at a stoplight when a motorcycle Officer stopped traffic. Then came a surprise, I couldn't believe all the Officers in this motorcade. I lost a good friend in the line of duty and my special niece and her boyfriend, a Richmond Officer, to a drunken boater. This touched my heart more than I can say. Thank you all for all you do to protect us every day. May God bless you richly and keep you safe.

For several years I've got caught in the traffic backup as I switch schools in the middle of the morning. This year I brought my 10 students from my school to work class to the curb at Bohemia Manor High School to cheer you on. The students were so excited by the fact that you were thanking us and running your sirens. We tied it into our lessons on 'company culture'. Thanks for all the work you do to protect us and thanks for the lesson today on unity within a company...aka law enforcement. God Bless you all.

First of all, I'd like to thank all who have participated, either by riding or as support staff. Know that your efforts are truly appreciated, and DO help in the healing process. I find myself wondering about giving back, and whether or not survivors are elligible to ride, and what the requirements are.
Thanks again,

First I want to thank all who rode in the Unity Tour. My son was killed on 9/14/08 and we were at the memorial when you all arrived. I can't express the emotions and gratitude I have for all of you for how you made me feel that day. A special thanks to Ian Dubac, who rode with my son's name and pictures on his motor, you along with all the others put a piece of my broken heart back in place that day. Ian, you'll always be and have a very special part of my heart. Some one told me while I was at the memorial wall that although I lost my son to look around at all the officers there, they've all become my sons. I love my son more then life itself but I can tell you, I've never been more proud to have so many stand in as my sons as you all, most especially you Ian. Please know how very much I love each and every one of you and always will.

I was at work Tues May 12th at the Highbridge Bp when I saw the most amazing sight, rows and rows of police officers on motorcycles, in cars, and on bikes going by. Two of these heros stopped into my work and purchased a drink and something to munch on and told us what all these heros were doing and then they were on their way to arrive in D.C. Seeing all the police officers riding by on bikes was amazing and I look forward to seeing them again next year. Hopefully they will all stop in and visit us next year.

There are millions of us out here who appreciate what you officers are up against each day. Whenever I pass a policeman on the road who has stopped a car, I say a prayer for his/her safety. You risk your lives to keep us safe and the criminals you place behind bars are set free by the judges before you finish out your shift. Then when funds get tight, first place they cut back is the police dept. Both you and our military are heros, doing the same job of keeping us safe.
Thank you so much.
